We had brunch at Smoke last Saturday. I had the smoked salmon eggs Florentine. They played up the bit by switching out the spinach for collard greens. You know, I’m just not a fan of collard greens. I was so bummed that each bite of the entree was overwhelmed with those icky greens. If only there were an option for spinach instead.
This weekend we are playing it frugal. We have a couple of restaurant gift cards begging to be redeemed. That and some burgers on the grill sound mighty fine to me.
